2014 - Bit of modelling and sculpting practice as a break from making robots. Maya/Zbrush/Mudbox etc. Rendered in Maya/Mental ray.
Also used this model to create a 3D lenticular image, shown in the video.
Biggest challenge was getting enough fine detail for close up shots, while making sure it didn't overwhelm the mid level details and larger underlying forms in mid/long shots.
Though the proportions are pretty standard T-Rex I tried to give the head a more raptor-like character.
